NAKURU - Two deceased clerics of the Kingdom Seekers Fellowship Church in Nakuru will be laid to rest Thursday following the failure of concerted prayers to resurrect them.

Pastors Patrick Wanjohi and Francis Ndekei died in a road accident on Monday last week, prompting days of prayers by thousands of the church's faithful, led by Apostle John Kimani.

The late Nakuru-based Pastor Wanjohi and Nyahururu's Ndekei were travelling to Nakuru from a church event in Nairobi when the accident occurred.

The clerics were the immediate assistants of the Head of the church, Apostle Kimani.

Addressing thousands of faithful and curious members of the public who gathered at the church to witness the rare resurrection spectacle last Saturday, Apostle Kimani said the two deceased clerics were just sleeping, and were not dead.

KSF's Apostle Kimani had promised the KSF faithful that the two pastors would resurrect on Saturday, three days after the congregation started a fasting and prayer session.

He urged faithful to pray for their resurrection because they had not completed their mission on Earth.

"We are not going to bury them, because they have not completed their mission here on Earth. We need them back because without them the church will collapse," he said.
